Baieido Tokusen (Excellent) Kobunboku Incense - Box of 80 sticks

Baieido is a distinguished incense producer in Japan, with over 300 years of experience in creating pure and high-quality incense.

Its founder, Kakuuemon Yamatoya, started as a medicinal herb wholesaler in Sakai city during the Muromachi period. By the 1650s, the company specialized in selling incense ingredients and sticks.

Today, Baieido is known for its traditional incense-making techniques, blending the finest aromatic woods and resins to produce mild, low-smoke sticks of superior quality and aroma.

Excellent (Tokusen) Kobunboku is a mellow blend of sandalwood, Indonesian aloeswood, and Chinese herbs.

Japanese incense is generally pure, with refined, light smoke and no wooden stick center, making it perfect for meditation. Although a bit more expensive than other incense, the quality of Baieido's products justifies the price.
